Our President
Dr. Mostafa Abbas
Chairman of the Board, Egyptian Youth Federation · European Climate Pact Ambassador
Dr. Mostafa Abbas is Chairman of the Board of the Egyptian Youth Federation. A lawyer, governance adviser and youth worker, he has spent more than two decades in non-formal education and youth empowerment across Egypt and Europe. He is the founder and president of the Euro-Med Youth Federation, founded and leads the Arab-German Center for Dialogue (WASLA) in Berlin, has headed the Oyoun Masr Association for Cultural and Social Development, and serves as a European Climate Pact Ambassador with the European Commission. He has also been a member of the Youth Committee of Egypt's Supreme Council of Culture since 2013, serving as its Vice Coordinator from 2020 to 2022. At the Federation, he launched the Youth Ambassadors for Community Development programme and represented the Federation at the World Youth Development Forum in Wuhan, China, where he met the UN Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs and youth and parliamentary leaders from China and South Korea.
