1. About these terms

This website is run by the Egyptian Youth Federation (الاتحاد النوعي للشباب), a federation of youth associations and foundations working across Egypt's governorates. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. Using the website

You may browse, read and share the website's content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

use the website in any way that breaks Egyptian law or harms others;

try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its administration area or its data;

disrupt the website, for example by overloading it or introducing viruses or other harmful code;

copy the website's content in bulk, or collect it with automated tools, without our written permission;

pretend to be the Federation, one of its member associations, or anyone else.

3. Information on the website

We work to keep the information about our programs, projects, events, news and member associations accurate and up to date, but it is provided for general information only. Dates, venues and other details of events and programs may change, so please confirm with us before relying on them. Information about member associations is provided by those associations, which are responsible for it.

4. Content and intellectual property

The Federation's name, logo and symbols, and the texts, photos, videos and designs on this website, belong to the Federation or are used with permission, and are protected by law. You may share links to our pages and quote short extracts with a clear reference to the Federation. Any other use, including commercial use or use of our name or logo, requires our prior written permission.

5. Messages and applications you send us

When you contact us through the website's forms, or apply to take part in a program, event or volunteering opportunity, you agree that:

the information you give is true, accurate and your own;

you will not send anything unlawful, offensive, misleading or that infringes anyone else's rights;

we may use your message to reply to you and to handle your request.

Sending an application does not guarantee acceptance; each program, project and event has its own criteria.

6. Your personal information

We only collect the information you choose to send us, such as your name, email address, phone number and message through the contact form, and we use it only to reply to you and handle your request. We do not sell your personal information. We keep it only as long as needed and protect it with appropriate measures, in line with applicable Egyptian law, including Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020. The website remembers your language choice in your browser. To ask about, correct or delete information you have sent us, email info@egyptfederation.com.

7. Third-party content and links

Some pages show content from other services, such as videos played through Facebook or YouTube and maps from Google Maps, and some link to other websites, such as our member associations' pages. These services have their own terms and privacy policies and may set their own cookies when you use them. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

8. Limitation of liability

We provide the website "as is". We do our best to keep it available and free of errors, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, the Federation is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the website or from reliance on its content.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. By continuing to use the website after a change, you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and any dispute arising from them falls under the jurisdiction of the competent Egyptian courts.
